Edina siding and window projects come with a review step most suburbs skip. In the Country Club District, like-for-like re-roofs, in-kind re-siding, and same-size windows are approved by city staff, but any change to a street-facing window, door, or material needs a Certificate of Appropriateness and a meeting before the permit, and we prepare that package. Outside the district, more than half the housing dates from the 1960s or earlier, so lead-safe practice applies.
