1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you choose to give us and limited technical data about how this website is used. That includes:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Service address
  • Information submitted through our contact form
  • Communications with our office by phone
  • Website usage data collected through Google Analytics

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as government identification numbers, financial account details, or health information through this website.

2. How Information Is Collected

Information reaches us in three ways: through the contact form on this website, through phone calls with our office, and automatically through analytics tracking as you browse the site.

3. How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiries
  • To prepare estimates and schedule consultations and services
  • To provide customer support during and after a project
  • To understand how the website is used and improve its performance

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate the business and this website: Cloudflare Pages, which hosts the site; Web3Forms, which delivers contact-form submissions to our office; and Google Analytics, which provides website usage statistics. Each provider is required to safeguard the data it handles and may use it only to provide its service to us.

5. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how long visits last. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. Cookies on this site are used only for essential functions and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site remarketing.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, complete and support your project, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Privacy Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law permits. To make a request, contact us using the details in the Contact Information section below.

Minnesota's Consumer Data Privacy Act, effective July 31, 2025, applies to businesses that process the personal data of at least 100,000 Minnesota consumers in a year, or that derive more than a quarter of their revenue from selling personal data and process the data of at least 25,000 consumers, and it exempts small businesses as defined by the United States Small Business Administration. Minnesota Window & Siding Co., Inc. falls below those thresholds and is a small business, so the Act's consumer rights do not apply to it by statute. We do not sell personal data, and we honor the access, correction, and deletion requests described above regardless. The text of the Act is available at Minnesota Statutes chapter 325M.

9. Third-Party Links

This website may link to third-party sites such as review platforms or manufacturer pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and their own policies govern any information you provide there.

10. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
